What a wonderful nose of blackberries, limestone, minerals and dried violets. Full body and very fine tannins that are sophisticated and tailored, with a really fine texture and liveliness. The length is fantastic and refined. Try after 2026, but impressive to taste already
94 Robert Parker
The 2019 Rocheyron is sensual and expressive, wafting from the glass with aromas of raspberries, pencil shavings, potpourri and sweet soil tones. Medium to full-bodied, broad and enveloping, with tangy acids, powdery tannins and a supple, seamless profile, it concludes with a mouthwateringly saline finish. This collaboration between Peter Sisseck and Silvio Denz has turned out brilliantly.

Offers a rich and flattering feel, with waves of plum sauce, blackberry preserves and melted black licorice. Delivers ample toast, but it's easily absorbed through the rich finish. This doesn't have a ton of range, but it's a solid midterm drinker. Merlot and Cabernet Franc. Drink now through 2032. 1,600 cases made. — JM
