Domaine Georges Noellat

Domaine Georges Noëllat is located in the mythical commune of Vosne-Romanée in Burgundy. This small but expansive estate produces a variety of wines from several different appellations, including the Premier Crus of Nuits-Saint-Georges-Boudots and Vosne-Romannée-Beaumonts, as well as, Grand Crus of Echézeaux and Grands Echézeaux. Coming from a very highly-reputed vinous family, Georges was actually the nephew of the great Charles Noëllat, who was known for his work with Domaines Jean-Jacques Confuron and Hudelot Noëllat, and even Domaine Leroy. Georges’ domaine passed down to his daughter, Marie-Thérèse and is now run by her grandson, the youthful, Maxime Cheurlin since the 2010 vintage. The domaine’s wines are characterized by their impeccable terroir-driven yet elegant styles.
